Freedom of Information courses
Pinsent Masons offers training on the Freedom of Information Act
and the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act. Our training covers
the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) syllabus in
Freedom of Information.
Although the full set of courses has been designed to enable
those attending to take the examination leading to the ISEB
Certificate in Freedom of Information (FOI), the courses are also
suitable for those who do not wish to take the examination but who
just need to know specific areas of FOI legislation.
FOI Courses are held at our offices in London, Glasgow,
Manchester and Leeds.
The courses provide introductory training and an overview of the
FOI arena; offer a comprehensive and practical grounding in FOI;
and enable practitioners to focus on particular areas such as
exemptions or the regulations which pertain to access to
environmental information.
The courses can be booked either as individual courses or as a
block, but please note that if there is a heavy demand for places
then preference will be given to those who are seeking the ISEB
qualification.
