Susan Biddle's biography

Susan is a Partner in the Outsourcing, Technology & Commercial Group.

Susan provides commercial, IP and IT advice to media and entertainment, new media and technology businesses.

Her specialist non-contentious media and entertainment practice covers both the traditional and new media environments, and includes: agreements for the supply of content and other services; publishing contracts; protection and exploitation of copyright and database rights; licensing, agency and distribution agreements; royalties and commission arrangements; and contractual joint venture agreements in the media sector.

Her technology practice focuses on the negotiation of all types of IT contracts, including in particular advising customers and suppliers on software development, licensing and distribution agreements.  She also advises on system integration agreements and IT support and consultancy agreements and on the establishment of contractual joint ventures.

Susan also deals with contracting online, online liability issues and distance selling regulations; website terms and conditions including for online gambling; affiliate arrangements; web services, hosting and linking agreements.

She advises extensively on data protection issues including privacy policies, data transfer and direct marketing, particularly in relation to online services.
