Andrew Hartshorn's biography
Andrew is a Partner in the Outsourcing, Technology &
Commercial Group. He specialises in information technology
law and leads the Birmingham IT team. Andrew handles all
aspects of IT-related law but particularly focuses on large scale
IT outsourcing contracts.
Andrew has worked on a number of major public sector IT projects
including advising the NHS on its £350 million payroll outsourcing
with McKesson, PWC and IBM and its £100 million national email
contract, advising iSOFT on its subcontracts with CSC and Accenture
under the NHS National Programme for IT and has recently advised
the City and County of Swansea on its £83 million Strategic
Partnership Agreement with Capgemini.
On the private sector side, Andrew has advised on the contracts
for the development and launch of the Opodo travel website; the
contract for a major ERP implementation for a national logistics
business and more recently on a number of outsourcing contracts for
a major building society.
