Brief
We are currently looking to recruit a lawyer to join the
Insurance & Reinsurance Group in our Birmingham office who has
from NQ level post qualification experience. This is primarily
a non-contentious role but we will look at candidates who wish to
do a mix of contentious and non-contentious.

advice and assistance on every aspect of insurance and reinsurance,
from the creation of new products and policy wording to resolving
major disputes. Our leading team of over 30 lawyers advises both
national and international risk carriers, intermediaries and
corporate policyholders.

independent directories and is distinguished by the breadth of its

Our work includes dealing with matters for clients across a
broad spectrum, including life and non-life companies; reinsurers;

We advise major insurers, reinsurers and brokers in all types
and methods of reinsurance, often with an international
dimension.We frequently draft reinsurance wordings, advise on
commercial transactions and handle complex, multi-jurisdictional
reinsurance disputes.
The candidate required
The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in
a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be
technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and
enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team
player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have
a strong academic background and excellent communication and
organisational skills.
