Brief
We are currently looking to recruit a 4 years+ PQE
Solicitor to join our Glasgow Corporate team.
We are looking for strong corporate lawyers with
experience in corporate finance and M&A work. The successful
candidate will be based in our Glasgow office, but will have the
opportunity to work in and alongside colleagues in our other UK
offices.
Background
Pinsent Masons has a large national corporate group comprising
some 100 lawyers, including more than 35 partners.
Our Corporate lawyers work with clients at the forefront of
their strategic development advising on mergers, acquisitions,
disposals, flotations, takeovers, buy-ins and buyouts, joint
ventures and investments. Our detailed knowledge and close
working relationships with other professionals enables us to
achieve the right structure for deals and to bring together
appropriate funders and entrepreneurial investors.
We make it our business to understand the markets our clients
are in and their business aspirations and pressures. When a deal
needs to be done we bring together the players to make it
happen.

We advise a diverse range of companies, from private company
start ups to listed companies and their institutional advisers on
all aspects of their businesses. Our corporate lawyers have
considerable experience and well-established relationships with
advisers and institutions.
We have extensive experience of advising on shareholder
agreements; private equity investment; general M&A; joint
ventures; public takeovers, both recommended and contested;
flotations/initial public offerings; secondary issues including
rights issues, placings and open offers; private placements;
corporate governance; compliance with companies, securities and
financial services legislation including the Listing Rules of the
UK Listing Authority and the City Code on Takeovers and
Mergers.
The Candidate Required
The successful candidate will ideally have
gained experience in a large firm environment. Candidates
must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially
aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will
be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will
also have a strong academic background and excellent communication
and organisational skills.

- Advising Noble & Company on the admission
to AIM of Network Data plc.
- Advising Ogilvie Group on the acquisition of
Loy Surveys Limited.

of LCH Generators Limited.
