OUT-LAW News, 26/07/2000

PatentCafe.com, an intellectual property resource company, has launched the first intellectual property and security portal, providing information and services on communications security, personal and corporate privacy, digital identification methods and digital document management.

Commenting on the portal, which has been named LockMyDoc.com, the CEO of PatentCafe.com, Andy Gibbs said:

“The internet business environment has spawned an entirely new dimension to intellectual property law, enforcement and management of intangible assets... PatentCafe.com, Inc. developed LockMyDoc.com as the repository of legitimate news, information and resources for companies conducting business on the 'Net".

LockMyDoc.com claims to include the industry’s deepest navigational directory, digital rights management message board and e-mail discussion list.

It also offers a library of intellectual property FAQ’s, professional and executive reports, leading industry newsletters and a Digital Rights Management glossary.
